The PT100 Temperature Probe Calibration using a Dry Block Calibrator cooling time is longer than the heating time due to the insulation of the heating block. The designed insulation assures better stability of the Dry Block Calibrator. The Dry Block Calibrator is custom designed for the needs of the customer. A good thermal contact between the sensor and the heating block is important for accurate measurements. The difference in the diameter of the sensor and the bore should be less than 1 mm.
The Temperature Controller being used in the Dry Block Calibrators is a RKC CB-100 PID controller. The Temperature Indicator (only fitted to the FXP-1/1), is a TCL Pt100 indicator.
The Temperature Controller displays two values. The Green illuminated PRESENT VALUE (PV) is displayed in the upper section of the controller and displays the actual temperature of the heating block. The lower Amber illuminated value shows the SET POINT or the desired Dry Block Calibrator temperature.
Normal use of the Calibrator will not result in any significant level of airborne dust from these materials, but much higher levels may be encountered during repair.
The supply must be 230 Volt AC (50 Hz) unless otherwise stated. The supply must incorporate an Earth (ground).
