HVA28 - The Smallest VLF Test System
The HVA28 is a truly compact and portable VLF test set system for testing medium voltage cables. It performs VLF and DC testing, sheath testing and sheath fault location modes. The system can be retrofitted with internal Tan Delta Diagnostics upgrade (as HVA28TD).
The HVA28 offers outstanding features in terms of size, weight (14 kg) and performance (max. 10 μF). The instrument has two independent earthing devices and an integrated 12 kV feedback protection system to protect both operator and instrument.
